My name is Dwight Herrera, and my friends often call me dwek, dweky or dwitee. I don't know who started to call me dwek, what I know is that the person is a member of a choir. I am a Computer Science student at De La Salle University Canlubang and my course tells that I really enjoy technology though I do not know much about it. I like knowing facts about computing and cool stuff that is currently happening in our society. I regularly check the mall for new devices (I only check, them, no money for me to buy them) for me to see what is the latest in the tech market today. I spend most of my time in front of my computer when I have the opportunity specially when I am on vacation or just hanging around because I enjoy working with a computer, I do not know why, but I think it would be hard if I don't have one. Aside from technology and computers, I also enjoy funny things that I can see in movies, shows, pictures, stories and anything that can make me laugh as hard as I can. Hahahahha! I am really a happy person, but sometimes people tell me that I look serious or "suplado!” Hahaha! I don't know why, but that is what they always tell me. Maybe, I'm used to have that look in my face always. Maybe, the hot weather is making me look serious, because I really find the Philippines as a hot weathered country. But even though it's hot, I still like it here in the Philippines cause unlike other countries specially western countries, sometimes those countries experience severe weather conditions.(tornados...etc) Another reason why I like my beloved country is the fact that most Filipinos face their problems with a smile. You won't succeed provoking a Filipino to run around screaming because of problem/s. You often see Filipinos thinking of a way to solve their problems. I also find Filipinos creative, one example is the prepaid card and the latest e-load. Since it is expensive to subscribe to plans, they created a new way to enjoy communicating without worrying to much on having expensive bills. This is the reason why, the Philippines is named as the texting capital of the World. Cool! haha! There's so many reason why I like the Philippines, but the creativity and happiness of the Filipino for me is a very unique trait of Filipinos among others. I am a Filipino, therefore i might be a creative and a happy person, and I'm proud.
